Miles Tails Prawer from Adventures of Sonic the Hedgeho 1 Miles "Tails" Prower is a fictional character from the Sonic the Hedgehog series. He is an anthropomorphic fox cub born with two distinct twin-tails, hence his nickname. Tails is a mechanical genius and pilot who is the sidekick and best friend of Sonic the Hedgehog. He is able to use his two tails to propel himself into the air like a helicopter for a limited time. He has also been known to use his tails to create a tornado to attack enemies. He is an expert mechanic and inventor, able to build and repair anything from airplanes to robots. He is also a skilled pilot, able to fly a variety of vehicles, including the Tornado, a biplane he built himself. He is brave and loyal, always willing to help Sonic in any way he can.
