The sacrifice of Isaac is a religious story found in the Bible. It is found in the book of Genesis, chapter 22. In the story, God commands Abraham to sacrifice his son, Isaac, as a test of faith. Abraham is willing to obey, but at the last moment, an angel intervenes and stops him. Instead, Abraham is provided with a ram to sacrifice in place of his son. The story is seen as a demonstration of Abraham"s faith and obedience to God.
