It is the fourth installment in the Brothers in Arms series. The game was released in North America on October 7, 2005, and in Europe on October 14, 2005. The game features a single-player campaign, as well as an online multiplayer mode. The single-player campaign follows the story of Sergeant Matt Baker and his squad of 101st Airborne Division paratroopers during the Battle of Normandy in World War II. The game focuses on the squad"s actions during the Battle of Carentan and the liberation of the town. The multiplayer mode features up to 16 players in deathmatch and team deathmatch games. It also includes a co-operative mode, in which players can join together to complete objectives. The game also features an online ranking system, which allows players to compare their scores with other players.
