Chinese Zodiac- movie 1 Chinese Zodiac is a 2012 Hong Kong-Chinese action-adventure comedy film written, produced, and directed by Jackie Chan. The film stars Chan, Liao Fan, Zhang Lanxin, Laura Weissbecker, and Yoo Seung-jun. It is the third film in the Armour of God series, following Armour of God (1986) and Armour of God II: Operation Condor (1991). The film follows the adventures of Asian Hawk (Chan), a treasure hunter searching for the twelve bronze heads of the Chinese Zodiac. He teams up with a French rival, Jacqueline (Weissbecker), to find the heads and keep them out of the hands of a ruthless businessman (Liao). The film was released in China on December 12, 2012, and grossed over $115 million at the Chinese box office.
