Dinosaur- cartoon 1 The Land Before Time is a 1988 animated adventure film directed and co-produced by Don Bluth and executive produced by Steven Spielberg, George Lucas, Kathleen Kennedy, and Frank Marshall. It follows a young Apatosaurus named Littlefoot who is orphaned after his mother is killed by a Tyrannosaurus. He then sets off on a quest to find the Great Valley, an area spared from devastation. Along the way, he meets four other young dinosaurs who become his friends and help him on his journey.
