Enterprise-TV series 3 The third season of the American science fiction television series Star Trek: Enterprise began airing on UPN in the United States on October 2, 2003, and concluded on May 13, 2004, after airing 22 episodes. Set in the 22nd century, the series follows the adventures of the first Starfleet starship Enterprise, registration NX-01. The third season saw the introduction of new regular cast members and the return of a number of recurring characters. It also saw the debut of several new aliens, including the Xindi, a race of aliens from the Delphic Expanse. The season also saw the resolution of a two-year-long story arc that began in the first season, with the destruction of Earth by the Xindi. The season ended with the crew of Enterprise completing their mission to save Earth.
