Homecoming-TV series 2 The second season of the Homecoming TV series is currently in development. It is expected to be released sometime in 2021. The show is based on the podcast of the same name, which was created by Eli Horowitz and Micah Bloomberg. The first season starred Julia Roberts, Bobby Cannavale, Stephan James, Shea Whigham, Alex Karpovsky, and Sissy Spacek. It was released on Amazon Prime Video in November 2018. The second season will likely follow the same format as the first, with a new story and new characters.
