Invasion of the Dinosaur- movie Invasion of the Dinosaurs is a 1975 British science fiction television serial produced by the BBC. It is the fifth serial of the 12th season of the long-running British science fiction television series Doctor Who. It was first broadcast in six weekly parts from 15 February to 21 March 1975. The serial is set in London in the near future, and follows the Doctor and his companions Sarah Jane Smith and Harry Sullivan as they attempt to prevent an alien invasion of Earth by the Silurians. The serial was the first to feature the Silurians since their debut in 1970, and is also the first to feature their subterranean city. The serial also features the first appearance of the Sea Devils, a race of aquatic Silurians.
