In Search of Nemo- movie 4 In Search of Nemo is a 2004 American computer-animated adventure film produced by Pixar Animation Studios and released by Walt Disney Pictures. Written and directed by Andrew Stanton, the film stars the voices of Albert Brooks, Ellen DeGeneres, Alexander Gould, Willem Dafoe, and Brad Garrett. It tells the story of the overprotective clownfish father Marlin who, along with a regal tang named Dory, searches for his abducted son Nemo all the way to Sydney Harbour. Along the way, Marlin learns to take risks and let Nemo take care of himself. The film received universal acclaim and was a box office success, grossing over $936 million worldwide. It won the Academy Award for Best Animated Feature, and was nominated in three more categories, including Best Original Screenplay. A sequel, Finding Dory, was released in 2016.
