Natures Great Events-TV series 5 Natures Great Events is a BBC nature documentary television series, first broadcast on BBC One and BBC HD in the United Kingdom from 3 November 2009. The six-part series focuses on the greatest natural spectacles on Earth, and how they shape the lives of the creatures that live there. The series was produced in conjunction with the Discovery Channel and The Open University. It was filmed in various locations around the world, including the Arctic, the Antarctic, the Kalahari Desert, the Okavango Delta, the Amazon rainforest, the Pacific Northwest, and the Great Barrier Reef.
