They then take it to their boss, Marsellus Wallace (Ving Rhames), who orders them to deliver it to a man named Brett. The next story follows boxer Butch Coolidge (Bruce Willis) as he attempts to flee the city after winning a fight he was supposed to lose. He runs into Marsellus Wallace and the two have a violent confrontation. The third story follows Vincent Vega and his date, Mia Wallace (Uma Thurman), as they go out for a night on the town. After a drug-induced high, Mia overdoses and Vincent rushes her to the hospital. The final story follows Jules and Vincent as they attempt to retrieve a mysterious briefcase from a group of criminals.
