Roma- movie 3 Roma is a 2018 drama film written and directed by Alfonso Cuarón. The film stars Yalitza Aparicio and Marina de Tavira and follows the life of a middle-class family in Mexico City in the early 1970s. It was released to critical acclaim and was nominated for ten Academy Awards, including Best Picture and Best Director for Cuarón, who won both awards.
