Samara Morgan is a ghost girl from the American film Th 3 e Ring (2002). She is the primary antagonist of the film and is portrayed by Daveigh Chase. Samara is a cursed child who was thrown into a well by her adoptive father, Richard Morgan, when she was seven years old. She then returns from the dead as a vengeful spirit, using a cursed videotape to spread her curse to anyone who watches it. The curse causes the viewer to die seven days after watching the tape, unless they can pass the curse on to someone else. Samara is a powerful and terrifying entity, with supernatural powers such as the ability to manipulate electronics and move objects with her mind. She is also able to possess people, and is able to take control of their bodies and make them do her bidding.
