The film, which is based on the song of the same name by Oliver Wallace, is a political satire of Nazi Germany and Adolf Hitler. The film follows Donald Duck in a nightmare in which he is forced to work in a munitions factory in Nazi Germany. The film was a box office success and won the 1943 Academy Award for Best Animated Short Film.
