He is a member of Team Guy, which also includes Neji Hyuga, Tenten, and their leader Might Guy. Lee is known for his thick eyebrows, bowl haircut, and the green jumpsuit he wears - a tribute to his sensei, Might Guy. He is often teased for his appearance, but he doesn"t let it affect his cheerful and optimistic personality. Unlike most characters in the series who use ninjutsu or genjutsu, Lee primarily uses taijutsu (martial arts). This is because he lacks the ability to use ninjutsu or genjutsu, a fact that initially made him a subject of ridicule. However, under Guy"s tutelage, he becomes a formidable taijutsu specialist. Rock Lee is characterized by his indomitable spirit, determination, and unwavering belief in himself and his dreams. His life"s goal is to prove that a "failure" can become a great ninja through hard work and perseverance, a principle he refers to as the "Power of Youth." Throughout the series, Lee forms a close bond with his teammates and develops a romantic interest in Sakura Haruno, one of the series" main characters.
