Coquelin en Crispin par Bourdelle 1 Coquelin en Crispin is a bronze sculpture by French sculptor, Antoine Bourdelle. The sculpture depicts two figures, Coquelin and Crispin, in a dynamic embrace. Coquelin is a French actor and comedian, while Crispin is a character from the play The Two Orphans, which Coquelin famously performed in. The sculpture captures the emotion of the moment, as the two figures appear to be in a passionate embrace. The sculpture was originally commissioned by the Musée des Arts Décoratifs in Paris in 1909, and it is now housed in the Musée Bourdelle in Paris.
