Crash Bandicoot from 3 Crash Bandicoot is a platform video game series created by Andy Gavin and Jason Rubin. The series was originally developed by Naughty Dog from 1996 to 1999, and by Traveller"s Tales, Eurocom and Vicarious Visions from 2000 to 2010. The series features a titular character named Crash Bandicoot, an anthropomorphic bandicoot living on a group of fictional islands near Australia. The games are largely set on the Wumpa Islands, an archipelago situated to the south of Australia, although other locations are common. The main games in the series are largely platformers, but several are spin-offs in different genres.
