Freddie Mercury Sculpture head Freddie Mercury was an English singer, songwriter, and record producer, best known as the lead vocalist of the rock band Queen. He is widely regarded as one of the greatest singers in the history of popular music. To commemorate his legacy, a sculpture of his head was created in 2002 and is located in Montreux, Switzerland. The sculpture was designed by the British sculptor Irena Sedlecka and is made of bronze. It stands approximately 2.4 meters (7.9 feet) tall and weighs around 1,500 kilograms (3,300 pounds). The sculpture is a popular tourist attraction and is often visited by fans of Queen.
