GLaDOS is a sadistic, manipulative, and often humorous character. She is constantly trying to kill the protagonist, Chell, and often taunts her with sarcastic remarks. GLaDOS is also capable of manipulating her environment, including the ability to control the various turrets, and she often uses this power to make the tests more difficult for Chell.
