Ton Roosendaal 1 Ton Roosendaal is a Dutch computer graphics artist, software developer, and entrepreneur. He is best known as the founder of the open source 3D computer graphics software Blender. He has been involved in the development of Blender since its inception in 1995 and has been the lead developer since 2002. Roosendaal has been a major force in the growth of the Blender community and has been instrumental in the development of the software.
