Qingjiang in China 3 Qingjiang is a county-level city in the prefecture-level city of Yichang, in the western part of Hubei province, China. It is located on the south bank of the Yangtze River, and is bordered by the cities of Yichang and Zigui to the east, and by the provinces of Sichuan and Chongqing to the west. The city has a population of approximately 180,000 people, and is known for its beautiful scenery and cultural attractions. Qingjiang is home to the famous Three Gorges Dam, the world"s largest hydroelectric dam, as well as the Qingjiang River, which is one of the Yangtze"s major tributaries.
