Qutb Minar Tower India 7 Qutb Minar is a 73-metre (239.5 feet) tall tapering tower of five storeys, with a 14.3 metre (47 feet) base diameter, reducing to 2.7 metres (9 feet) at the top of the peak. It is located in the Mehrauli area of Delhi, India. It was built by Qutb-ud-din Aibak of the Slave Dynasty in 1193 and later completed by his successor Iltutmish. It is a UNESCO World Heritage Site.
