Radnevo in Bulgaria 2 Radnevo is a town in southeastern Bulgaria, located in the Burgas Province. It is the administrative centre of the homonymous Radnevo Municipality. As of December 2020, the town has a population of 7,812 inhabitants. Radnevo is situated in the Upper Thracian Plain, in the valley of the Tundzha River, at the foot of the Sredna Gora mountain range. The town is an important centre of industry, services and culture in the region. It is home to several large industrial enterprises, including the Radnevo-based Radomir Metalurg, the largest steel mill in Bulgaria. Radnevo is also the birthplace of the famous Bulgarian poet Pencho Slaveykov.
