Ratnanagar in the NEPAL Ratnanagar is a municipality in Chitwan District in the Narayani Zone of southern Nepal. It is located in the inner Terai plains of Nepal. The municipality was formed merging the two VDCs, Ratnanagar and Jutpani, in May 2014. Ratnanagar is the administrative center of Chitwan District and the largest city in the district. It is located at the confluence of Rapti and Reu Rivers. The city is connected to the rest of Nepal by the Mahendra Highway and the East-West Highway.
