Rock Sound in Bahamas Rock Sound is a small settlement located on the south side of Eleuthera Island in the Bahamas. It is the administrative capital of the island and has a population of around 500 people. The town is known for its pristine beaches, crystal clear waters, and excellent fishing and diving. The main attraction in Rock Sound is the Preacher"s Cave, a large cave with a history dating back to the 1600s. The cave is said to have been used by the Lucayan Indians as a place of worship.
