8 and a half 1963 6 8½ is a 1963 Italian fantasy comedy-drama film directed by Federico Fellini. It stars Marcello Mastroianni as Guido Anselmi, a film director who is struggling to complete his latest movie. The film is semi-autobiographical, as Fellini drew inspiration from his own struggles to finish La Dolce Vita. 8½ won the Academy Award for Best Foreign Language Film and the Palme d"Or at the Cannes Film Festival.
