He is given command of the Eureka, a garbage scow, and tasked with cleaning up space waste. However, he soon stumbles upon a plot by a rival corporation to take over the galaxy. Space Quest 5: The Next Mutation is known for its humor, challenging puzzles, and satirical take on popular science fiction franchises like Star Trek and Star Wars. The game features a point-and-click interface, replacing the text parser of previous games. In the third part of the game, Roger must navigate through various challenges including dealing with a mutiny, rescuing a kidnapped scientist, and stopping the corporation"s evil plan.
