The game stars Spider-Man and the X-Men, and is loosely based on the "Arcade"s Revenge" story arc from the Marvel Comics series The Uncanny X-Men. The game follows Spider-Man and the X-Men as they battle against the villainous Arcade, who has created four virtual reality simulations based on the heroes" powers and abilities.
