Super Mario Odyssey 6 Super Mario Odyssey is a platforming game for the Nintendo Switch, released in October 2017. It is the eighteenth title in the Super Mario series and the sixth 3D Mario title on a home console after Super Mario 3D World. The game follows Mario and Cappy, a spirit that possesses Mario"s hat and allows him to take control of other characters and objects, as they journey across various worlds to save Princess Peach from Bowser, who plans to forcibly marry her. The game features open-ended, exploration-based gameplay, with players traveling across a variety of different kingdoms to collect Power Moons which are used to power up Mario"s airship, the Odyssey, and progress through the game. Along the way, players can collect coins, find hidden items, and defeat enemies. The game also features a two-player cooperative mode, where two players can work together to complete levels.
