Sword of the Stars 2 Sword of the Stars 2 is a 4X turn-based strategy game developed by Kerberos Productions and published by Paradox Interactive. It is the sequel to the 2006 game Sword of the Stars. The game was released on August 28, 2012. The game is set in a space opera universe, where the player controls one of six spacefaring races. The player must explore the galaxy, colonize planets, research new technologies, build ships, and engage in diplomacy and warfare with the other races. The game features a dynamic AI system that reacts to the player"s actions, as well as a full 3D engine for combat.
