Ashfall 2 Ashfall 2 is currently in development. The sequel to the 2019 South Korean disaster film will follow the aftermath of the eruption of Mount Paektu, a volcano on the border of North Korea and China. The film will focus on the efforts of the South Korean government to save the people of the North from the disaster. The cast and crew of the first film are expected to return for the sequel.
