The Last of Us 7 The Last of Us is an action-adventure survival horror video game developed by Naughty Dog and published by Sony Computer Entertainment. It was released for the PlayStation 3 in June 2013, and for the PlayStation 4 in July 2014. The game is set in a post-apocalyptic United States, where a fungus-like infection has caused humans to become hostile, zombie-like creatures. The player takes control of Joel, a smuggler tasked with escorting a teenage girl, Ellie, across the country in an attempt to find a cure for the infection. Along the way, they must fight against hostile survivors, infected, and the military. The Last of Us received critical acclaim, with praise directed at its story, characters, visuals, and gameplay.
