The Longest Journey 7 The Longest Journey is a point-and-click adventure game developed by Funcom and released in 1999. It follows the story of April Ryan, an 18-year-old art student from Newport, Rhode Island, who discovers she has the ability to travel between two parallel worlds: the mundane world of Stark and the magical world of Arcadia. The game features puzzles, dialogues, and exploration of the two worlds. It was critically acclaimed for its story, characters, and puzzles, and was later re-released as The Longest Journey: Dreamfall Chapters in 2006.
