Interactive Entertainment. It is based on the events taking place in the northern regions of Middle-earth in J. R. R. Tolkien"s The Lord of the Rings. The game was released for Microsoft Windows, PlayStation 3 and Xbox 360 on November 1, 2011. The game follows three adventurers, a Ranger of the North named Eradan, an Elven Loremaster named Andriel, and a Dwarf Champion named Farin, as they journey through the northern regions of Middle-earth to fight against Sauron"s forces. The game features a unique combat system that allows the player to switch between the three characters at any time. The game also features a cooperative multiplayer mode, allowing up to three players to play together online.
