Tom Clancys Splinter Cell Conviction 5 Tom Clancy"s Splinter Cell Conviction is an action-adventure stealth video game developed by Ubisoft Montreal and published by Ubisoft. It is the fifth installment of the Tom Clancy"s Splinter Cell series and the sequel to Splinter Cell: Double Agent. The game was released for Microsoft Windows, PlayStation 3, Xbox 360, and Nintendo DS in April 2010. The game follows the story of Sam Fisher, a former agent of the fictional National Security Agency (NSA) sub-agency Third Echelon, as he is drawn into a conspiracy involving his daughter"s death. As he investigates, Fisher uncovers a deeper, darker conspiracy involving a high-ranking official of the NSA. The game features a new game mechanic called "Mark & Execute", which allows the player to quickly mark specific targets or enemies and shoot them in rapid succession. Other features include the ability to interrogate characters to gain information, and the use of gadgets such as a sticky camera. The game also features a cooperative multiplayer mode, in which two players can play through the game"s story missions.
