It is the third installment in the Valkyrie Profile series, and a sequel to Valkyrie Profile 2: Silmeria. The game was released in Japan on March 15, 2006, and was later released in North America on June 26, 2007. The game follows the story of Lenneth, a Valkyrie who is sent to Midgard to find and recruit souls to fight in the upcoming Ragnarok. The player is able to explore dungeons, battle monsters, and recruit new allies. The game features a new battle system, as well as a new skill system. Players can also explore the world of Midgard and interact with the various characters.
