Warhammer 40000 Dawn of War II - Retribution 4 "Warhammer 40,000: Dawn of War II - Retribution" is the second expansion pack to the real-time strategy computer game "Warhammer 40,000: Dawn of War II". It was developed by Relic Entertainment and published by THQ on March 1, 2011. The game takes place in the grim, war-ravaged world of Games Workshop"s Warhammer 40,000 universe – a dark, futuristic, fantasy setting where armies of technologically advanced warriors, fighting machines and hordes of implacable aliens wage constant war – and is played from a third-person perspective. "Retribution" offers a campaign for every faction in the game, including the Imperial Guard. The campaign takes place across the galaxy, where the Space Marines, Eldar, Orks, Tyranids, and Chaos Space Marines are all attempting to seize control. The game also introduces new multiplayer units, maps and an entirely new playable faction when compared to the original game. There are also major changes to the gameplay compared to the previous version of the game, such as the addition of heroes and hero units, as well as the inclusion of a leveling system for the player"s army.
