It is a sequel to the 1988 video game Wasteland and the first to be released in the Wasteland series since 1998. The game was released for Microsoft Windows, OS X, Linux, PlayStation 4 and Xbox One on September 19, 2014. The Director"s Cut version of the game was released on October 13, 2015. It includes a graphical overhaul, new voice-overs, new features, and additional content.
