Yooka-Laylee 1 Yooka-Laylee is an action-adventure platform video game developed by Playtonic Games and published by Team17. The game was released for Microsoft Windows, macOS, Linux, PlayStation 4, Xbox One, and Nintendo Switch in April 2017. It is a spiritual successor to the Banjo-Kazooie series, which was created by many of the same developers. In Yooka-Laylee, players control Yooka and Laylee, a chameleon and bat duo, as they explore 3D worlds to collect Pagies, the game"s main collectible. Pagies can be used to unlock new worlds and progress through the game. Along the way, players must also collect other items such as Quills, which are used to purchase moves, and Ghost Writers, which are used to unlock new abilities.
