Ys Origin 3 Ys Origin is an action role-playing game developed by Nihon Falcom and released in 2006 for the PC. It is a prequel to the Ys series, taking place 700 years before the events of Ys I: Ancient Ys Vanished. The game follows the story of three playable characters, each with their own unique story, as they explore the tower of Darm Tower in search of the lost land of Ys. The game features fast-paced action-RPG combat, platforming elements, and puzzles. The third installment of the series, Ys Origin 3, is currently in development and is expected to release in 2021.
