Vrysoulles in Cyprus 1 Vrysoulles is a village in the Famagusta District of Cyprus. It is located in the north-east of the island, close to the Green Line that divides the island between the Republic of Cyprus and the self-proclaimed Turkish Republic of Northern Cyprus. It is home to a large Greek Cypriot population, as well as a small Turkish Cypriot population. The village is known for its traditional architecture, with its narrow cobbled streets and old stone houses. The village also has a large olive grove, which is a popular tourist attraction. Vrysoulles is also home to the St. Mamas Church, a Byzantine church dating back to the 15th century.
