The series stars Dana Delany as medical examiner Dr. Megan Hunt, a former neurosurgeon. Hunt, who is frustrated by the limitations of her new job, uses her extensive medical knowledge to solve cases alongside detectives from the Philadelphia Police Department. The series was created by Christopher Murphey and produced by ABC Studios. In the United States, the second season premiered on September 20, 2011. On May 13, 2012, ABC renewed the series for a third season of 13 episodes. On May 9, 2013, ABC canceled the series after three seasons.
