Akane the Kunoichi 5 Akane the Kunoichi 5 is an action-adventure platformer video game developed by Tamsoft and published by D3 Publisher. It is the fifth installment in the Akane the Kunoichi series and was released in Japan on October 25, 2018, for the PlayStation 4, PlayStation Vita, and Nintendo Switch. The game follows the story of Akane, a kunoichi (female ninja) who must fight her way through a variety of levels in order to save her village from the evil forces of the Shadow Clan. Players must use Akane"s ninja skills to traverse levels, defeat enemies, and solve puzzles. The game features a variety of weapons and tools, as well as a new grappling hook mechanic that allows players to traverse the levels in new ways.
