It is set an alternate history version of the American Revolutionary War, where George Washington is corrupted by the Apple of Eden and crowned king of the United States. The player takes on the role of Ratonhnhaké:ton, also known as Connor, as he fights against the tyranny of King Washington and his oppressive rule. The story is told through three episodes, each of which is released separately. The first episode, The Infamy, was released on February 19, 2013. The second episode, The Betrayal, was released on March 19, 2013. The third and final episode, The Redemption, was released on April 23, 2013.
