The expansion pack was developed by Digital Illusions CE and published by Electronic Arts for Microsoft Windows and Mac OS X. It was released on February 4, 2003. The expansion pack features six new maps, three new vehicles, two new weapons, and two new armies. The maps are set in the Italian Campaign of World War II and the two new armies are the British 8th Army and the Italian Co-Belligerent Army. The new weapons are the British Sten submachine gun and the Italian Beretta Model 38A submachine gun. The three new vehicles are the British M4 Sherman tank, the Italian Semovente tank destroyer, and the German Sd.Kfz. 251 halftrack.
