The game features a new story and protagonist, Nathan Spencer, a bionic soldier who is betrayed by the government and sentenced to death for a crime he did not commit. He is given a second chance to clear his name and to save the world from a terrorist organization. The game features a grappling hook mechanic which allows players to swing and climb across levels.
