Blazing Lazers 1 Blazing Lazers is a top-down shoot "em up video game developed by Hudson Soft and released for the TurboGrafx-16 in 1989. The game is set in the year 2999, in which the player takes control of the Galaxy Federation"s most advanced battle ship, the "Laserion", in an effort to stop the evil Dark Squadron from taking over the universe. The player must battle through eight stages of varying difficulty, each with its own boss. The game features power-ups, which can be collected to upgrade the Laserion"s weapons.
