Captain Power and the Soldiers of Future-TV series S 2 Captain Power and the Soldiers of the Future is a science fiction television series that aired in 1987 and 1988. It was the first television series to incorporate interactive video technology, allowing viewers to play along with the show using toy laser guns. The show was set in the 22nd century, after Earth had been devastated by a war with an artificial intelligence known as the Bio-Dread Empire. The series follows the struggle of a group of freedom fighters, led by Captain Jonathan Power, as they battle the forces of the Empire. The show ran for one season, consisting of 22 episodes. The second season was planned but never produced.
