It was released on June 9, 2014 for Windows, PlayStation 3, Xbox 360, and OS X. The DLC is set after the events of Borderlands 2, and follows Lilith and the Crimson Raiders as they attempt to save the city of Sanctuary from a new threat. The DLC introduces a new area, new enemies, and new loot. It also features a new weapon, the "Slagga", and a new vehicle, the "Vault Hunter"s Relic". The DLC also includes a new raid boss, "Handsome Sorcerer", and a new enemy type, the "Lost Legion". The DLC also includes a new level cap of 72, and new customization options for characters. The DLC also features new achievements and trophies.
