Arandis in the Namibia 1 Arandis is a town in the Erongo Region of Namibia. It is located on the B2 road, about 40 kilometres (25 mi) south of Swakopmund and 25 kilometres (16 mi) north of Usakos. The town is home to a uranium mine and is the second largest town in the Erongo Region. The town was founded in 1975 as a residential area for the workers of the nearby Rössing Uranium Mine.
